The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was commemorated in Hungary

On December 11, the meeting with the Azerbaijani youth studying in Hungary at the Azerbaijan House in Budapest began with the commemoration of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Tahir Taghizade, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary, Ibrahim Safarli, Head of Azerbaijan House, and Elbrus Isayev, Rector of Nakhchivan State University, spoke about the contributions of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the youth policy of our country. It was emphasized that this policy, which was founded by the National Leader, has been continued by President Ilham Aliyev, and the activity of the Youth Fund is a clear example of this. Advisor to the Minister of Culture, Honored artist Oleg Amirbeyov also took part in the meeting.

On December 12, an event was organized at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Hungary on the occasion of the Memorial Day of the National Leader. A bouquet of flowers was placed in front of the bust of the National Leader in the embassy, ​​and his dear memory was commemorated by the participants of the event with a minute of silence.

Speaking, Ambassador T. Taghizade compared National Leader's role in the history of Azerbaijan with the statesmen of Hungary, the revolutionary Lajos Kossuth and the reformer Gyula Andrassy, ​​and emphasized that H. Aliyev implemented a policy combining both directions. It was pointed out that the restoration of the territorial integrity of our country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is the logical result of the visionary policy of the National Leader.
